	Dr Amanda Gillies, the director of Hygeia's Herbs, would like to welcome you to this site. She hopes you enjoy looking around and finding out how our products can help you with your health and keep you looking / feeling great. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our director and our company, Hygeia's Herbs.

Our director Amanda is 37 years old and is an evolutionary biologist by training. If you want to check her credentials, do an internet search with her full name; Dr. Amanda C. M. Gillies. She studied for her first degree at the University of Manchester and then went to the University of St Andrews for her Ph.D. In 2002 she decided to have a change from academic research and found herself working for a well-known supermarket chain. This taught her a great deal about interacting with non-academic people but was not enough of a challenge for her, so she started up her own business.

Our company Hygeia's Herbs is an independent distributorship for Herbalife. You may have heard of Herbalife before? It is an American company and was established more than 25 years ago. It is a multi-level marketing (MLM) business and has won many awards for its ethical codes of practice. For more information on Herbalife please look at http://www.herbalife.com.

Hygeia's Herbs is a subsidiary of Amanda's original company, Rendall Turner Enterprises (RTE). In addition to wellness coaching we offer a proofreading and manuscript correcting service to non-native speakers, including students and scientists. Amanda is also a qualified EFL teacher. She teaches grammar, conversation and business English to adults and children, in groups or singly.
